Helen's work is about being away from crowded places. It is quiet, free and open. She hopes to provide a moment of respite, to invite viewers to pause, take a deep breath, drop their shoulders, let down their guard, feel new energy from within.
Helen was student in the diploma program, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, has a Masters of Social Work degree from Simmons College in Boston, and a Master of Arts degree in mathematics from the University of California, Riverside. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from Denison University, Granville, Ohio. Helen currently lives in Quechee, Vermont.
