Sheila Hollender

Sheila Hollender is an amateur photographer and an expert in the field of women’s issues, environmental health and sustainability. 

She co-founded Seventh Generation with her husband, Jeffrey, following a distinguished career as a partner in her own New York law firm, and served on the Seventh Generation Board of Directors for over 15 years. Sheila also worked as the Director of Giving for the company, as well as the company’s Women’s Environmental Health Advocate.

Sheila serves on the Leadership Council for Planned Parenthood, on the Board of Advisors of Healthy Child Healthy World, and on the Boards of the Breast Cancer Fund and Sustainable Health Enterprises, addressing the problem of women’s and girl’s absenteeism from work and school in Rwanda.
